I love the high school movie genre. There’s something comforting about watching others going through the horrors you went through at school. While details change from generation to generation, the struggle to fit in is always there.
This high school comedy for the naughties generation scores number 14 in Entertainment Weekly’s list of the 50 Best High School Movies – that’s five places behind 1995’s Clueless, five places ahead of 1986’s Peggy Sue Got Married, nine places ahead of 1978′s Grease, 38 places ahead of 1961′s Splendor in the Grass and 12 places behind 1955′s Rebel Without a Cause.
