Jim Carrey is a ‘yes’ man. That much is clear from the fact he agreed to star in 2005’s humourless twaddle Fun with Dick and Jane. It seems only right, therefore, that he should play the lead in the forthcoming adaptation of the Danny Wallace memoir Yes Man, about – unsurprisingly – a man who challenges himself to say ‘yes’ when normally he would say ‘no’. As well as showing how annoying children can be, the trailer sees Jim Carrey’s character living life to the max by drinking some Red Bull, learning Korean, and driving a motorbike into the path of oncoming traffic. See how much fun life can be when you say ‘yes’ to stuff? No, me neither.
Yes Man will be released in December.
