I believe that would be Mark Wahlberg. I’m thinking back to those billboards he did for Calvin Klein many moons ago when he was moonlighting as a rap artist called Marky Mark. Anyone reckon he might have been auditioning for his part in Boogie Nights?? Just a thought.
Mark Wahlberg really “thrust” himself into the limelight in this role!
I forgot to mention earlier that this movie has a great soundtrack – an eclectic mix of disco and rock and very evocative of the time in which it’s set. Credit must also be given to the fact that it features Brand New Key by Melanie – the strangest musical accompaniment to a sex scene I’ve ever come across in a film!
