Cool review. Simply can’t wait to see how 007 develops after Casino Royale. The franchise is on fire at the moment and I’m sure QoS won’t disappoint.

Im wondering though if a real Bondian has to be called Ian. Im also wondering what Gemma Arterton was thinking of when she wore that crazy purple get up to the premiere last night. Bet she got cold legs. Havent seen the movie yet but I hear there is not much love action involved, so poor Gemma didn’t get a even a quantum of sausage.

The simple fact is that despite a few people hankering for the old days…please move on! Craig plays a brilliant Bond, more in line with the high octane Bourne series that cinema goers expect. Sure we could do with a few more one liners but there is always a risk that we would be left with a laughable Mr Freeze scenario a la Batman and Robin!

After reading this review I personally am more excited then ever!

Stop hankering after the past, mate, and learn to live with the fact that Roger Moore and his eyebrow have retired. The Bond franchise has never been more alive and I can’t wait to see Quantum of Solace, even if there are no exploding egg timers in it.

QOS sounds exciting in a Bourne sort of way, but I miss the humour and debonair charm of the old Bond movies. Daniel Craig’s a fine actor but his interpretation of Bond leaves me cold. Bring back Pierce!
