The Guru

Couch Potato Pickings

On ITV3 tonight at 9pm

One of the best things about this underrated film, starring Jimi Mistry, is its wonderfully varied soundtrack, which includes songs from Sophie Ellis Bexter and the Sugababes, as well as John Travolta and Olivia Newton John.

The best track, however, is the song Chori Chori Gori Se. It’s got the Dancing Queen factor. By that I mean that you can put it on at a party and it’s a guaranteed floor filler (and yes, I am talking from experience).  Disclaimer: This might not work if your party guests are music snobs with no sense of humour.

You can just freestyle, but it’s even more fun to learn the dance moves from the  film.
