At the end of March ITV2 pulled this film from their schedule following the terribly sad death of Natasha Richardson, who would have turned 46 next week.
I voiced my relief at the channel’s decision at the time (click here for that), since the thought of watching Liam Neeson as a bereaved man at his wife’s funeral was just too upsetting.
Well, it’s now a month or so later and while this scene will undoubtedly always be upsetting, I think that the shock-fuelled discomfort is fading.
I’m sure it’ll never fade for Liam Neeson though.
