Terminator Salvation destroys all opposition at the box office – We have explosive clips

Terminator Salvation - there’s no escaping the killer robots, as Sam Worthington’s Marcus Wright is about to find out

The reviews for Terminator Salvation have mostly been scathing, but the fourth movie in the Terminator series has proved as unstoppable as those killer robots – relentlessly blasting its way to the top of the UK box office charts over the past weekend. With £6.937 million already in the tills, the movie has out-grossed its predecessors’ opening salvos – and the openings of every other film released in the UK so far this year.

Your instinct, on learning this, may be to drive as fast as you can in the opposite direction from your nearest multiplex; then again, you could well be one of those who rushed to the cinema over the weekend; but for those who haven’t yet succumbed to the implacable cyborgs, we have a couple of clips from the movie to give you an idea of what you’re missing.
