Why not share your views with fellow Movie Talk readers?
We’d love to hear what you have to say about the movies or stars you feel passionate about – whether it’s adoration or loathing. What are the films or actors you love but other people sneer at? Let us know your favourite movie memory (perhaps of seeing a film in an unusual setting: The Beach on a beach or Cinema Paradiso in a cinema that was heavenly). Tell us if you stumble upon a film crew in the middle of a shoot. Or simply take the opportunity to sound off about any movie-related topic that takes your fancy.
Set your thoughts down (between 200 and 600 words is ideal) and send them, with Speaker’s Corner in the subject line, to movietalk@ipcmedia.com.
It’s over to you.

In response to “rant of the week” this week, re Bruce Forsyth, as follows:
How dare anyone ‘dis’ “our Brucie?” I grew up with him on the tele in shows like “Sunday Night at the London Palladium”. He is an entertainer in the true essence of the word. OK the jokes may make us cringe, but they’re meant to! I’m a young widow and pensioner and an ex-dance teacher and performer and I realise how lucky we all are to have a wonderful show like “Strictly” and a compare like Brucie to entertain us and cheer us upon a Saturday evening! “Carry on dancing, Brucie” – you’re wonderful!
