Meryl Streep is having man trouble. Again!
After being forced to confront three former lovers – any one of whom could be the father of her daughter – in Mamma Mia!, Meryl’s set to engage in a steamy affair with her remarried ex-husband in upcoming romantic comedy It’s Complicated. Here’s the trailer…

Of course, it would be entirely unfair and wholly untrue to suggest the reigning queen of Hollywood was so… wanton. In real life, Meryl’s been married to American sculptor Don Gummer for more than 30 years. In It’s Complicated, however, her character, Jane, secretly reunites with her remarried ex-husband, Jake (Alec Baldwin), for a passionate affair while also getting increasingly involved with her charming architect, Adam (Steve Martin).
Is Jane happy to be her ex’s mistress? Is Adam aware that he’s part of a love triangle? Should Alec Baldwin wax his chest? It’s… complicated!
It’s Complicated is released on 8 January 2010.
