Did you know that all of the girls from the original 1990s TV series Beverly Hills, 90210 have starred in a festive film?
Well, now you do, and the great news is that three of them are showing today!
Jennie Garth played Kelly Taylor in the 1990s series – on the surface a spoilt blonde in high-waisted jeans, but a very complex character beneath the facade.
In the 2002 film Secret Santa, she plays a reporter who’s trying to determine the identity of a town’s mysterious benefactor.
Secret Santa shows today on BBC2 at 11am
I can’t find any pics of Tori Spelling, but, believe me, she’s barely changed since the 1990s when she played Donna Martin in Beverly Hills, 90210, Kelly Taylor’s best friend.
In seasonal 2003 movie A Carol Christmas, Spelling plays a bitchy TV host who’s visited by four ghosts at Christmas and learns the error of her ways, an entertaining spin on the classic Dickens’ tale.
A Carol Christmas shows today on Hallmark at 10am
Brenda (Doherty) and Jason Priestley‘s Brandon (who names their kids matching names like that?) Walsh were the brother and sister from Minnesota who tried to fit into the glamorous world of Beverly Hills. Being siblings, their dramas in the show were often family related.
Doherty’s dramas in the 2007 movie A Christmas Caper involve criminal activity. She plays a burglar who is tempted to rob her neighbours while they’re at a Christmas party. That’s not very nice is it?
A Christmas Caper unfortunately isn’t showing today, but it is showing this weekend. Catch it on Sky 1 on Sunday 20th December at 2.05pm.
Behind those glasses and that shaggy hair, it was always difficult to tell if brainy Andrea (Arndrea) Zuckerman was good looking. There’s no doubt about it however in 2005 festive movie Deck the Halls – she’s gorgeous. The film’s about a boy who tries to fix up his widowed mother with a wacky marketing man
Deck the Halls shows on Hallmark at 4am
Who was your favourite Beverly Hills, 90210 girl? Andrea was definitely my fave.
