It’s the longest day today – the Summer Solstice – and I believe that thousands gathered at that infamous Wiltshire site this morning to mark this significant date in the calendar.

I’m fascinated by the ancient role of Stonehenge and other stone circles, so I’m just a little curious to see the sci-fi thriller Stonehenge Apocalypse. It’s the story of a team of archaeologists on a dig near Stonehenge who stumble upon an ancient piece of machinery and accidentally set in motion a destructive chain of events…

Stonehenge Apocalypse is showing on Syfy tomorrow 22nd June at 11pm. Does anyone know if there’s a cheerier film out there to mark the Summer Solstice?
