As a writer I find Tarantino's writing not self indulgent, but merely lazy. He has an idea, plugs it into some winning, for him, formulas, and hires two actors, one whom he wastes halfway through the film, and the other, Jamie Foxx, whose talents are as overrated at Tarantino's. Give QT another 5 years and see how many people think he's a great talent. I already don't and much of it is because he doesn't pay attention to detail and work hard enough. Violence fans? Remember that scene where one character leans over a balcony and from the side, shoots one of the bad guys standing in a downstairs doorway? And the person flies straight backward as if getting both barrels of a 12-guage from point-blank range? If violence it your big thing, then do it right.

I am highly delighted that Wetherspoon brewery have made a quaint public house in Whitstable named after my favourite actor Mr Peter Cushing, if he was alive today i am sure he would pop in and have a nice cool drink or maybe a pot of tea, i have supported/followed Peter over 50 years, i felt sad when he passed away and i never knew how one like myself could get attached to a famous celebrity like Peter, i also like Sir Christopher Lee, and i will never forget Peter, just has i have supported another well known celebrity and that is Michael Schumacher, i know we fans should not idolize our celebrities but if there is one you trully adore why not and i cannot see any harm done to the celebrity in question.I have seen Michael 3 times and yes i have read there intriging books in which i will never part with, i was hoping to see Peter and ask him a few questions and sign his 2 marvellous books. I sometimes play his CD story and feel sad for him but at least he lived a good age and didn't die young.

Ouch Mark! Thanks for training your grammatical firepower on me. Yet I remain bloody but unbowed. Try googling the phrase. I think you'll find it's a perfectly acceptable alternative.

I haven't even read Watchmen and I, too, have not seen a lot of literarily impressive graphic novels. But it seems very disingenuous to dismiss the novel based on the film and justify it with the ravings of anonymous "fans," particularly if the author himself has disavowed it. Also, to blame Moore for the movie's fetishistic treatment of violence suggests a lack of familiarity with Zack Snyder's oeuvre--the guy is a fascist at heart, of COURSE he's going to make it look "cool."

This whole piece feels more like a petty rationalization of why you don't like comic books than a review of a film.

Certainly, very similar with Forrest Gump, even has a Jenny (but not like THAT from FG). Even so, it's a touching story, I think.

Everybody is forgetting the best action heroes. What about Bruce Lee, who invented martial arts? Who is better than him?

'Bruce Lee' was a real fighter and the best action hero.

If I would pick the best Action heroes then the list will be-:

Bruce Lee
Sylvester Stallone
Arnold Schwarzenegger
Jacki Chan
Jet Lee
Bruce Willis

And others follow them.
