And judging from this trailer, it’s going to be action, action, action as Jack takes on the back-from-the-dead-turned-bad Tony Almeida. “So help me God,” says Jack, “I will kill you, and you will stay dead this time.”

All very cool… Apart from the justification of torture as a ‘necessary technique’ for fighting terrorism. This series is a smart piece of propaganda that glorifies the Bush administration’s disregard for human rights. Is it too much to hope for that we might see some more liberal, humane programming under the Obama administration?
