It would have to be a spike spin-off, with weekly hi-jinks from him and his trusty sidekick anyanka, a la ‘Angel’. There’d need to be liberal use of vaseline on the lens whenever James appears though – think Cybil Shepherd in Moonlighting…
Of course him leading a show would be absolutely amazing. And he is obviously, completely deserving.
But you make it seem like he has got nowhere unless he has him own show. Which is simply ridiculous!
The characters he’s played are major parts of the shows. A show can’t be good if only one person is good. I have never thought of him as a secondary part of anything, like you make it sound.
Anything he plays a good, big part in I will love, it’s irrelevant to me whether he is classed as the complete lead or not.
James definitely deserves his own show but in my opinion it should be something entirely new, not Spike, not Brainiac, not any role he had already done.
On the other hand, captain Jack had not enough screen time. ))))))
I do think he should have his own show it would be cool he is the best actor in the world
