Battlestar Galactica – it’s one of those shows you really need to have been watching since the beginning, like The Wire, or Smallville, or CSI: Miami. Well, no, obviously not that last one (unless you’re compiling your very own youtube Caruso one-liners special).
Now the final episodes of Battlestar are approaching, you have three options:
1. Give up and wait for the next big series to come along. Simple, but hey, where’s the fun in that?
2. Buy all the previous series DVDs, lock yourself in your lounge, close the curtains, crank up the central heating, make sure you’ve got a good stash of crisps ‘n’ dips and hit the play button. (Side effects include loss of friends, blurred vision, and quite possibly rickets.)
