Jess accidentally breaks the television after a spontaneous living room basketball game, Nick and Schmidt try to convince Jess to retrieve her TV (to replace the one she broke) and personal belongings from the house she had shared with her now ex-boyfriend. After Coach leaves, the original fourth roommate Winston (Lamorne Morris), whose career took him overseas, returns and attempts to manipulate Schmidt into switching rooms since Schmidt now occupies Winston’s original, larger bedroom.

Bill’s success in the senate is offset by new new obstacles to his livelihood being raised by LDS officials, who ask that he refrain from referring to himself as a Mormon. Barb’s frustration with her internship prompts a life-changing decision. Bill and Nicki cannot adopt Cara Lynn unless they are married, however, Barbara is reluctant to get a divorce. Meanwhile, Lois fondly recalls her life with Frank, and Don is almost drowned on a family ice fishing as revenge for Bill’s actions.

New series. Tony, working on special assignment from SecNav, is discovered shot with blood on the scene. Gibbs informs Tony that he shot an NCIS agent but, unfortunately, Tony has no memory of that night. While Tony tries to regain his memory, the team works to figure out what his special assignment actually is, fearing he may have been the actual target in the shooting and the killer is still out there. V’s Scott Wolf makes his first appearance as the recurring character of FBI Agent Casey Stratton.
