BOSTON LEGAL, DENNY CRANE

9pm, House, Five
This is the first episode written after the writers’ strike, so fittingly the nurses are staging a walk-out. House notices one militant man is unusually chirpy, and realises it’s more of a medical condition than a choice of disposition. The students take this conclusion and apply it to House’s extreme grumpiness, and before you know it they’re testing him for syphillis.

10pm, Boston Legal, Living
A group of leading politicians, headed by guest star George Segal, ask Denny to run for President of the United States. If that sounds like a great idea to you too, you can register your vote. If anyone can give John McCain a run for their money, it’s Denny ‘Mad Cow Disease’ Crane.

10pm, Cold Case, Sky One
In a story loosely based on Ingrid Bergman’s classic 1944 movie Gaslight, Lilly and the team reinvestigate the alleged suicide of an aspiring writer after her granddaughter produces evidence that the handwriting on the victim’s suicide note doesn’t belong to her grandmother.
