Chuck‘s entering the third dimension for the Superbowl and it looks like it’ll be the usual blend of slapstick comedy, spy intrigue and mind-blowing stunts as usual, just in 3D. Here’s a sneak peek – and keep an eye out for Tony Hale’s sly Arrested Development reference. Will Virgin 1 be so kind as to send us some 3D glasses in advance?

Apparently you need special coloured 3d glasses, not just the usual red/blue. There are loads on fleabay in the States, but none that will ship to UK.
Thanks for letting us know about the glasses, David. Having just seen My Bloody Valentine 3D, we were hoping to be able to reuse the glasses we nabbed from that!
Is this going to be aired in Real-D?
Cause here in South Africa, everytime you watch a 3d movie they let you keep the glasses, so I’ve got like 20 of them at home.
Real-D technology has not been released for commercial televisions, it works through polarised light which will require either separate pixels for each polarisation or to switch between them really quickly, however these do require filters, I’m not 100% on the technology but there are plans for a tv release in 2010, with a new 3D sky channel. however people will have to choose between HD tv or 3D tv
Folks, just to let you all know, we’re going to be giving away the glasses you need with our magazine, TV & Satellite Week. It’s the issue that goes on sale on Tuesday 18th August!
David – your quite correct anaglyph format comes in different colours
Ben/Duaan – you wont be able to use the glasses from the cinema as they are polarised and you need a special filters on projectors and special tv screens which are available.
