Out on DVD today (25 June) comes the second series of the wonderfully offbeat comedy Bored to Death starring Jason Schwartzman as New York writer and unlicensed private detective Jonathan Ames. With his second novel rejected, Jonathan becomes a creative writing teacher to help supplement his income. Along the way he takes on some desperate new clients, ranging from a kinky policeman to the publishing rival of his sexagenarian pal, George Christopher (played by former Cheers actor Ted Danson).
