Karen Archer (guest star Christina Hendricks, who stars opposite her real-life husband and Body of Proof regular, Geoffrey Arend), the identical twin of a beautiful corpse, Jessica, whose mysterious death keeps Ethan and Curtis guessing. As Ethan’s personal interest in this case deepens, Curtis begins to question Ethan’s motives. Meanwhile, Megan faces old demons when she visits her former boss at the hospital where she used to practice. A patient has died after recent surgery. Was it murder or malpractice? But when they track Fierro down Horatio and Eric do not kill him as his daughter is there. Will Memmo escapes?

Ryan and Wilfred keep bonding and spend a great day at the beach, though Ryan is fined for letting Wilfred swim in the ocean. When Jenna asks Ryan to take Wilfred to the vet, Ryan uses the new trust to betray Wilfred and learns a secret about Jenna in return.
