Sometimes when I’m watching Dexter, I find myself distracted by questions about the more mundane nature of his ‘hobby’. I mentioned this to some other folks here at the office and discovered I was not alone in my bemusement. Here are some of the questions we’d like to know the answers to.
- Where on earth does Dexter get all that clingfilm? Does he bulk-buy at the local cash and carry? Don’t you have to have a tradesperson card for that?
- Has he ever killed anyone using the serrated edge on the clingfilm box to save him hulking around that big carving knife?
Where does he do his laundry?
- Where does he keep the ladder he must need to climb to cover the walls with plastic every time? We have visions of a Sport Billy-style bag…
- How did he get so strong? He lugs bodies round like they’re shop window dummies!
- Did he start nicking laboratory slides from work (the way most people take the odd biro from the office stationery cupboard) and then after his sock drawer got a bit too full he decided a blood sample collection would be the perfect use for them?
