    We all make mistakes.

Well done for coming clean, admitting the mistake, and making a good effort in rectifying the situation.

  2. Gavin Lord says:

Thanks for the quick notification and updated pages.

  3. David Goadby says:

Well done for spotting it but what a pain and expense you have put on us as high quality colour printing is required for these!

To add insult to injury, I have to let my subscription lapse and then re-subscribe each year to get the best price. As a subscriber for many years why not save us both trouble by giving me the best price at renewal time? With Sky’s on-line guide now searchable maybe next year I won’t bother….

  4. Geoff Fookes says:

I love it. Shows we all can make a mistake. At least you found it in the end, was it the proof readers day off or did the Laser Eye treatment fail? Thanks for making my day.

  5. Sam Williamson says:

Small mistake in an otherwise flawless magazine…

Thanks for the heads up and the PDF’s

    Cheers

  6. R.E.Cook says:

The pages you published were far too small to read even with a magnifying glass and there was no PDF link. very very poor service!

  7. B Daynes says:

I thought I was cracking up when I read sky movies on next week are on this week however at least you had the decency to make an apology

  8. James R MacKenzie says:

Really pleased to have the missing Film pages by email.
I subscribe to “The Times” online. Have you considered a web version for “TV & Satellite Week”. There are many of us in Spain with Sky who would welcome internet access to your comprehensive guide.
    Best Wishes

  9. Laurie Scott says:

I have tried to print these off (at cost to me in colour print ink) and find that they are not configured to fit onto a sheet of A4 paper so I have abandoned it. I will have to look in the newspaper.

I think the least you could do is post the pages out to subscribers.

  10. Mrs T Smith says:

Hi Thanks for informing us about the misprints of the films. I have downloaded and printed the pages from Saturday to Thursday, but Friday’s page just will not print off. Adobe keeps telling me that the file is damaged and cannot be repaired. Have you had any other comments about this?
Thanks again for taking the trouble to inform everyone
    Sincerely
    T Smith.

FFS – I’m away to buy a copy of the Radio Times instead !

  17. Gerald Rowlands says:

How refreshing in this day and age for an organization not only to acknowledge a mistake but to take steps to minimise any damage caused.

  18. peter wilson says:

Thanks – I am usually too busy to read the mag, but my husband enjoys reading it. As I had to print these pages out for him, I actually found myself looking for films to watch and found a couple!

  22. Nicholas Tambakis says:

I used to get the TV Times and I often noticed discrepencies in the listings. These things happen for many different reasons.

  23. Mike Gibson says:

    Ooops…

Thanks for letting us know and correcting the error ASAP.

  24. Craig Lalor says:

Thank you for your apolagy. I was very surprised to see that the same films were on again this week and it took me a moment to realise what had happened. I was going to e-mail yourselves, but you beat me to it. Thank you for the downloads. Problem solved. 10 out of 10 for the e-mail and the apology, but minus several million to your quality control.!!!! :)

  25. Eileen Elphick says:

Not to worry, we all make mistakes. Yours is still the best TV mag on the market – by miles, and I work in a newsagents occasionally ! Eileen

  26. Will Smith says:

Don’t worry too much – Shit happens and it’s still a great magazine.
Pity though that the on-line replacement pages are so hard to follow, as every time you close a page to see the next one it takes you back to the original e-mail. Next time use the “Pages” tab to store all seven days.

  27. eric.cook says:

thanks for the fast response to to the “wrong week films” error.

  28. mr r h j h palmer says:

it would be a good p.r exercise were you to offer a reduction to the next annual subscription to the mag on top of any offers available at this time

  29. Terry Bartlett says:

    Hi,
Please Please Please do not sack the Idiot responsible for this fopah, not many people can afford SKY Film channels, so do not worry unduly, cos I am one of them. Just carry on regardless of this incident and keep up the great standard of publication as it is surely the best for all programs. Cheers Terry.

  30. Maggie Smith says:

I like to watch films, which is why I pay for Sky, so I do like to browse through your magazine to choose which ones I want to watch in the short time I have.

Looking through the Sky TV listings is very time consuming and iritating so I must say the error by your company/or perhaps the printers was very frustrating indeed over the weekend.

However, as this is your first big mis-print in the 3 years I have been receiving the IPC TV & Satellite magazine I will forgive you. Thank for the listings, I have printed them out xxxx

  31. John says:

It would have been much more “customer friendly” to have provided vouchers to obtain a future copy rather than just a download of a pdf!

    Dissapointed.

  32. Steve says:

    Apology accepted!!

  33. Jonathan says:

    Dear all

Apologies again for the terrible mix-up with the film listings pages. It was a deeply regrettable mistake and one, I can assure you, we will be taking every step to avoid repeating again.
