OK, we’ve just had confirmation of the BBC’s plans for the new series of Heroes.
Unlike the previous series, the third season is going to be shown on Wednesday nights, beginning 1 October.
The first episode will be shown on BBC2 at 9pm, followed by one of those 15-minute Heroes Unmasked thingies, and then the second episode will be on BBC3 at 10pm. Both episodes will also be simulcast on the BBC’s HD channel.
There will also be another chance earlier in the evening (7pm) to see the Heroes Countdown preview show that’s premiering on BBC3 next week (9pm on Friday 26 September to be precise).
Meanwhile, while we’re on the subject of scheduling, we also understand that the first episode of Little Britain USA will be on BBC1 at 9.30pm on Friday 3 October. Marvellous news, eh?

Actually, season 1 was also shown on Wednesday nights…
Doh! You are absolutely right, Cindylover. Thanks for pointing that out – I have corrected the post accordingly.
