Fresh from battling invading Persian hordes in the spoof Meet the Spartans (pictured above). Ex-Eastender Sean Maguire is set to return as an unlikely hero in Comedy Central’s magnificently titled medieval comedy Krod Mandoon and The Flaming Sword of Fire.

I have just watched the first episode of Krod Mandoon on BBC2. For ne, real “laugh out loud” jokes and great satire. The “Bored of the Rings”, “Dungeons and Dragqueens” etc geeks will probably hate it!
Great how people can make a joke out of anything. I didn’t like it at all.
