Yes, folks, Little Britain is coming back, only this time with a distinctly American accent.
Matt Lucas and David Walliams are looking to follow in the footsteps of Ricky Gervais and Sacha Baron Cohen and crack the States with a new custom-made HBO series.
The six-part series will feature plenty of old favourites from the duo’s BBC series, only relocated in an American setting – Daffyd, for example, is attending an American university and Sebastian Love is working at the UN.
New characters to look out for include muscle-clad jocks Tom and Mark (pictured above), who enjoy frolicking naked in the gym; foul-mouthed beauty pageant hopeful Ellie-Grace and her pushy mother; Phyllis and her manipulated canine companion Mr Doggy; and Bing Gordyn, the eighth astronaut on the moon, who is obsessed about the lack of recognition he gets compared to the other astronauts.
A number of celebs have also been lined up to appear, including Sting and comedian Rosie O’Donnell, who plays one of Marjorie Dawes’s Fat Fighters (you can see her about halfway through the preview below).

Be warned, it may take a while to load (you may want to hit pause and go off and make yourself a cup of tea while it does its stuff), but you can be sure it’s well worth the wait…
