Let’s be honest here. The last series of Prison Break was a bit pants, wasn’t it?
Thankfully, we’re hearing that the fourth series, due to begin on Sky One in September, is going to be a whole lot better, with Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) out of that silly Panama prison and teaming up with Lincoln (Dominic Purcell) to bring down The Company, the shadowy group responsible for all their troubles.
So what else should we expect?
• In one of Prison Break’s most audacious plot twists yet (and there have certainly been more than a few over the years), it emerges that Sara Tancredi (Sarah Wayne Callies) was not beheaded after all, and is very much alive. Michael, needless to say, is quite surprised.
• T-Bag, played by the wonderful Robert Knepper, will also be back; he has got hold of Whistler’s bird book and will, as ever, be making life difficult for our heroes. Sucre, who’s now a daddy, Bellick and Mahone are all back, too.
• The series will be set in Los Angeles this time around. The show’s executive producer, Matt Olmstead, says it will have a down-and-dirty feel to it: “It’s not the Hollywood sign and palm trees,” he told Kristin at E!.
• Michael will no longer have his tattoo. Don’t ask us how he gets rid of it because we don’t know, though we hear this will be explained in the first episode.

I can’t wait to hear how they explain the disappearance of the tattoo…
Panama dust has ink-destroying properties?
The shock of the reappearance of Sarah makes Michael lose all his pigment?
T-Bag knows how to administer skin-restoring therapy using the contents of a sachet of PG-Tips?
After last season they must think we’ll believe just about anything.
