Win the vintage British thriller series The Edgar Wallace Mysteries on DVD

Back in the 1960s and 1970s, The Edgar Wallace Mysteries became a popular feature on afternoon TV in the UK following its cinema run and gave The Shadows a No5 UK hit in 1960 with their instrumental version of the theme music, Man of Mystery. It also starred a who’s who of talent, ranging from Harry H Corbett, John Le Mesurier and Paul Eddington to Michael Caine and Barbara Windsor.

All 47 of these noir-ish mysteries – unseen for decades – have now been carefully restored and will  be released in seven volumes, beginning with the first two volumes on 30 July.

Courtesy of Network DVD, we have one copy of the Volume 1 and Volume 2 box-set, featuring 16 films and a host of bonus material, for you to win. To enter, fill in the form below, answering the following question: Crime novelist Edgar Wallace is best known as the Man of …?

THIS COMPETITION IS NOW CLOSED. Winners will be notified by e-mail.
