We’re loving HBO’s creepy new, metaphor-laden Deep South drama series True Blood – and we’re not alone it seems as, after the second episode recorded a record-breaking increase in the number of viewers, it has already been commissioned for a second run.
Now all we need is for some brave channel in the UK to snap it up – come on FX, we’re looking at you. Anyway, to celebrate here are the fantastically sinister new opening credits, featuring the tune Bad Things by Jace Everett.

Those opening credits remind me of Dexter, so I’m baptised. Can’t wait til it gets a UK release.
Great show. It’s up to Season 1 episode 4 atm. Best vampire show around, and some nice twists on the old mythology too.
Hiya, this show still isn’t being shown in the UK yet which is a complete travesty, where can I get to watch the complete series online? Please help, totally love the show, can’t wait to see more!
True Blood is due to come to digital channel FX soon, Nikki. We’re on at FX at the moment to let us know quite when. As soon as we hear anything, you’ll be the first to know!
Aw, thanks Ben, that’s excellent news! Hopefully I’ll be able to get get to see it soon! My brother was going to try to get it for me DVD but he said he it’s not available in the states yet & it probably wouldn’t be suitable for use in UK region! I was so disappointed but now that I know FX are gonna carry the the series, I can stop bugging him! LOL! Thanks again Ben!

Will FX be repeating True Blood Series 1 – plus any news on when Series 2 will air in the UK?
It really is an excellent series – so those who missed the first season in the UK really need to see it to catch up.
FX still hasn’t got round to showing the first series in the UK yet, so you haven’t missed anything! Expect to see it in the first few weeks of July. Check out their mysterious Bon Temps website here…
