True Blood | HBO’s new drama gets more mysterious

Last week we brought you news of Blood Copy, the blog that’s chronicling the seedier side of the uneasy truce between humankind and the newly out-and-proud vampires – which may be something to do with Six Feet Under scribe Alan Ball’s blood-sucking new drama series. Well, now it seems the company behind the vamps’ favourite, more ethical tipple – new synthetic blood drink Tru Blood – is stepping up its marketing campaign with banner ads around the world in China, South Korea and Russia (see below), as well as the new TV commercial above. We’re closely following this intriguing internet trail ready for the launch of HBO’s True Blood in September and will keep you updated as more facts emerge.

    I saw the leaked pilot episode, and it was quite interesting. It whetted my appetite and I am sure wI ill be watching it when it finally debuts.
