Hurray! Ugly Betty‘s back on our screens tonight at 10pm, Channel 4.

Lindsay Lohan plays Betty’s high school nemesis, Kimmie, in the opening episode of the new series of Ugly Betty.
Kimmie is Ignatio’s boss at the Flushing Burgers diner. Kimmie gets jealous when she hears Ignatio talking about his daughter getting an apartment in the city and her glamorous job at Mode magazine. When Kimmie makes life difficult for Ignatio, Betty decides to pay her a visit, but rather than making things better, Kimmie fires Ignatio. Big mistake!
Meanwhile, up-and-coming US singer-songwriter Val Emmich guest stars in four episodes of the new series of Ugly Betty as Betty’s noisy neighbour, Jesse.
When Betty is kept awake by loud music on her first night in her new apartment, she bangs on her neighbour’s door and is warmly greeted by the cute musician Jesse.
Look out for Betty in the closing credits dancing in her apartment to Tom Petty’s American Girl. Val Emmich has since released his own cover version of the song American Girl.
