In the latest edition of TV&Satellite Week

The always classy Rupert Penry-Jones is our cover star this week, and we’re very excited about the return of his legal drama Silk. He argues the case about why you should be tuning in to the new series, which features new stars Frances Barber and Phil Davis alongside regulars Maxine Peake and Neil Stuke.

• Also this week, we take a stroll down memory lane, or more accurately Wood Lane, to hear Tales of Television Centre, the hub of BBC production for more than 50 years.

Kevin Whately talks about what’s in store for Oxford detective Lewis, with big name guest stars including David Soul and Toby Stephens adding drama to the proceedings.

• Friends star Matthew Perry takes on a rather more serious guise as he begins a recurring role in our other favourite legal drama, The Good Wife.

• Sky1 launch another of their homegrown comedy dramas, Starlings, about an extended family all rubbing along together under one roof. From the writers of Peep Show and Star Stories, it promises to be top notch.

All this, plus updates on the kids of Seven Up, the return of Eureka, Felicity Kendal in search of Shakespeare in India, and more channels featured in our extensive listings pages than any other TV mag!
