Galactic fighter pilot, dogged detective, and now dishy doctor – yes, Jamie Bamber has landed a part in David Kelley’s new medical drama, the not particularly catchily titled Monday Mornings, alongside an impressive cast which includes Ving Rhames and Alfred Molina.
The show will be set in Portland, Oregan, and will centre around the professional and personal lives of five surgeons. Other cast members include Southland‘s Emily Swallow, Glee‘s Keong Sim, and three faces less well known to British audiences – Sarayu Rao, Bill Irwin and Jennifer Finnigan.
It’s being shown in the US on TNT, and we’re really hoping someone picks it up on this side of the Atlantic soon. No word yet on whether Bamber and Molina will be shedding their British accents in favour of something more local. Watch this space!
