Thomas Jane gratuitous shot

1) Action movie star (and Arrested Development’s undercover homeless guy) Thomas Jane is favourite to play the lead in Hung, HBO’s dark new comedy series about a well-endowed basketball coach.

2) Mad Men’s Jon Hamm (smooth-talking ad exec Don Draper, himself) wouldn’t say no to playing Kenneth’s boyfriend in 30 Rock.

3) Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog hasn’t vanished off the internet as planned. And saucy new sci-fi web series The Fold has launched, though it really, really isn’t family friendly at all. Just to warn you.

4) Medium creator Glen Gordon Caron is planning a new romantic fantasy drama series about an angel who returns to Earth. Hmmm, sounds familiar…

5) Some clips from the aborted Buffy animated series are doing the rounds on the internet. It looks rather ace in a Scooby-Doo kinda-way and we hope one day it might see the light of day.

6) HBO’s new offbeat vampire drama True Blood has spawned an online comic.

7) Cornish songstress Joss Stone is apparently going to be playing Anne of Cleves in The Tudors. Sadly she won’t be losing her head…
