The UK Sci-Fi channel’s spending spree continues with Human Target set to launch in the New Year.
Debuting Stateside in January, the series stars Fringe’s Mark Valley as Christopher Chance, an ass-kicking bodyguard who is the aforementioned ‘human target’, diverting danger away from his clients.
With a new case and set of skills each week, it sounds quite Dollhousey (a good thing) but the premise comes from an awesome DC Comics character and the trailer suggests Fox have flung some serious money at it.
It also stars Pushing Daisies legend Chi McBride and Watchmen’s Jackie Earle Haley – and Battlestar’s Tricia Helfer is the damsel in distress in the pilot. Here’s a sneak peek, including a sub-Laurel and Hardy-esque train explosion in a tunnel…
