Five things we learned today | Wednesday 3 September

Flight of the Conchords

1) Oh no! The worst news we’ve heard in yonks: it looks like there’ll only be one more series of Flight of the Conchords. On the plus side, though, Jemaine Clement and Bret Mackenize will be performing live in the UK early next year.

2) Turns out those stories yesterday about the return of Battlestar Galactica being delayed weren’t true after all. It will, we’re promised, be back in January 2009.

3) The official Dr. Horrible soundtrack is now available to buy on iTunes.

4) Piers Morgan may be getting his own US chatshow.

5) Republicans John McCain and Sarah Palin bear more than a passing resemblance to Battlestar Galactica’s Colonel Tigh and Laura Roslin.
