When the five time travelers (Sheriff Carter, Deputy Lupo, Dr. Blake, Dr. Deacon, and Dr Fargo) get back to Eureka, they find out that the town is anything but normal. Lupo is no longer a deputy but the head of GD security, Dr Blake is the medical director of GD, and Dr Fargo finds himself being the director of GD. Carter says ‘Yes’ when Tess asks him about the ‘thing’, only later realising that Tess is going to move in with him. They also realise that they no longer have the ability to repair their timeline because the device that returned them to the altered future overloaded and exploded. They must keep quiet and live their new lives for the time being and have Dr Grant adjust to the 21st Century until they can return him.
9pm, CSI: Miami, Channel Five
The CSIs investigate the mysterious case of how two cars managed to collide while one was almost standing still, and what baffles the team is that a woman in one car was killed, a man in the same car was injured, while the man in the other car escaped unscathed. However, Cardoza talks to the survivor’s wife, who claims the car her husband drove was stolen. Meanwhile, the surviving man mysteriously drops dead while in CSI custody. LA Lakers’ basketball star Pau Gasol guests as the driver of the second vehicle.
9pm, Smallville, E4
Three Kandorians are abducted by a crazed doctor on whom they performed experiments and who now believes that they are alien invaders intent on conquest. Clark insists on investigating and butts heads with Zod. Meanwhile, the doctor also abducts Lois and tries to convince her to publish his story, and Tess tells Oliver to find the person responsible for embezzling funds from the company. Zod disguises himself as a Daily Planet reporter, but is shot for his efforts.
