NEW 9pm, Eleventh Hour, Living
Remember the 2006 ITV1 science thriller Eleventh Hour which starred Patrick Stewart and Ashley Jensen? Well it only ran for one brief series before being axed due to disappointing ratings, but prolific TV producer Jerry Bruckheimer, the man behind CSI, has now remade the series and relocated it to the US. British actor Rufus Sewell takes over Stewart’s role as Dr Jacob Hood, a brilliant biophysicist and science advisor to the FBI, who investigates crimes of a scientific or paranormal nature, while Marley Shelton plays Rachel Young, Hood’s ever-vigilant bodyguard. In this week’s opener, Hood and Young travelling to Seattle to investigate when a security guard is caught disposing of 19 genetically identical human foetuses.

9pm, Gossip Girl, ITV2
Blink and you’ll miss all the ins and outs of tonight’s episode. Blair gets annoyed when Cyrus takes over organising the family’s Thanksgiving celebrations, Lily finds herself in a difficult position when Dan asks her to intervene in the feud between Jenny and Rufus, and Nate’s fugitive father rolls up with a very odd offer.

10pm, The Unit, Virgin 1
Bob’s in deep trouble this week when he gets abducted and held hostage by a Columbian drug cartel in the aftermath of a botched undercover mission. Can his comrades get to him before its too late? Meanwhile, Mack’s also got a fight on his hands when he poses as a prizefighter in a bid to bust an illegal betting ring. Back at home, the women run their own cover operation when a slip-up by Lissy causes the principal to suspect she’s dangerous.

10pm, The Beast, Five USA
Barker goes undercover as a homeless man to investigate the murders of three homeless Iraqi war veterans. His investigation leads him to a psychiatric unit – but all is not what it seems?
