Pick of the Day | Monday 16 February

24, Series 7, Henry & Dubaku

9pm, 24, Sky1
Jack and his renegades have their clandestine meeting with the Prez, but Dubaku’s taking things up a notch now he’s got Henry. Poor Henry – I’m sure when Alison got the top job, he envisaged a life of being waited upon hand and foot, watching movies in the White House cinema, and sliding down the banisters when no-one was looking – not having nutters left, right and centre trying to kill him!

9pm, 90210, E4
Harry worries that Annie’s taking things way too fast with Ty, especially as her role as understudy for the permanently out-to-lunch Adrianna means the relationship is taking dramatic new steps. Never fear, Harry – this show is fast turning into the most cheesily moral-lecture-giving piece of telly ever. We’ve only got Tabitha to keep us amused with her tales of drunken debauchery. Someone give that woman her own show!

9pm, Eli Stone, Sci-Fi
Eli has a vision of being trapped in his father’s body on Nate’s 12th birthday, but it serves to guide him when he agrees to represent the teenage boy who appeared last week as he tries to gain freedom from his extremely overbearing father. Meanwhile, Taylor decides to face the music and tell Matt about her pregnancy.

10pm, Lipstick Jungle, Living
SERIES FINALE Wendy struggles with Maddie’s headstrong ways, Nico appears on The Today Show but gets quite a grilling, and Victory tries to broker peace between her folks and Joe. We had steeled ourselves for the fact that LJ had been cancelled, but it looks like another US network may step in to save them. Watch this space!

10pm, The Shield, Five USA
NEW SERIES It’s nearly the end of the line for Detective Vic Mackey as the show reaches its seventh and final run, and it seems that Vic’s sins are finally catching up with him, with the Armenian gang threatening to kill him and fellow Strike Team member Shane. Of course Vic always has something up his sleeve… (and Ross Kemp could probably give him a few tips about career options for tough-looking bald guys…)
