Pick of the Day | Monday 2 March

 90210, Naomi gets arrested

9pm, 24, Sky1
The stress of the day’s mayhem really starts to get to Renee, though frankly her reaction makes me wonder how on earth she has lasted this long in the FBI. It’s another tense episode though, with a cracking car chase, Jack pointing guns at paramedics, Sean managing to ooze even more oil than usual, and Tony ‘careless whisper’ Almeida delivering some very very bad news.

9pm, 90210, E4
No, that’s not the fashion police finally coming for Naomi… it’s the real cops, and they arrest Naomi for possession of drugs after she covers for junkie pal Adriana. The much more wholesome Annie gets as close as she ever will to teenage pregnancy when she’s paired up with Ethan on one of those ‘care for an electronic baby’ projects, and Silver introduces Dixon to the joy of horror flicks. Oh, and only two brief but fab appearances by Tabitha.

9pm, Eli Stone, Sci-Fi
Eli has a vision of a woman receiving a Nobel Prize in 2049 for discovering the secret of cold fusion. The vision makes him start to applaud, but Ashley overhears the incident and is more than a little freaked out, driving Eli to consider undergoing a dangerous procedure to deal with his hallucinations once and for all.

10pm, The Shield, Five USA
Vic comes up with one of his typically complicated schemes to make himself valuable to the Armenians, though why they’d choose to trust a man with his history is a question I don’t have an answer for. Meanwhile, Tina and Julien go undercover to catch a dodgy adult film producer.

10.30pm, Heroes, BBC3
We thought things were getting better for the show, but Ando and Hiro’s trip to India veers towards the ‘pointless storyline added to annoy us’ category. Back in LA, an official tries to shut down Nathan’s project, and Claire-Bear tries to protect a new hero after receiving a shouty all-caps text from Rebel – any guesses yet on Rebel’s identity? Mama Petrelli? A reconstituted Adam? A fast-ageing Parkman baby?
