SERIES FINALE The rollercoaster shows no signs of slowing down in tonight’s two episodes as Brooke’s foster baby undergoes major surgery, Dan faces a major moral dilemma while inching closer to the top of the heart donor list, and the Lucas/Peyton/Lindsey/Brooke quadrangle finally comes to a head after a few life-changing phone calls. I’ll say one thing for Lucas – he certainly likes to act on impulse (and not the deodorant variety).
9pm, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Hallmark
Roy Scheider guest stars as a serial killer on death row who is still playing mind games with the authorities, trying to delay his execution. His actions stir up some painful emotions for Goren as he discovers the killer has a connection with his dying mother, leading to one of this series’ most stirring episodes yet.
10pm, Lipstick Jungle, Living
Episode two, and the ladies are being confronted by all sorts of problems – Victory loses her sole employee and her designer mojo, Nico has an unexpected run-in with the young chap she’s been enjoying steamy romps with, and Wendy is on the war path when a former nanny tries to publish a warts-and-all account of her time working for the executive. The absolute highlight though is the appearance of Sopranos star Lorraine Bracco as Wendy’s nemesis, fantastically ascerbic publisher Janice Lasher. Nothing subtle about that name.
