10pm, Grey’s Anatomy, Five
It’s the episode where Addison first goes to LA and gets her first taste of life (and of Pete!) at the clinic she ends up moving to in spin-off show Private Practice. Back at Seattle Grace, Meredith’s stepmother Susan’s condition suddenly deteriorates (with Meredith’s relationship with her father not far behind), George and Izzy play with fire in the lift, and Jane Doe reveals some surprising abilities.
10pm, The Unit, Virgin 1
Jonas, Mac and Hector head to France to retrieve a top secret microchip implanted in a man who thought it would be a great way to make some cash on the side. Where do you see offers like that advertised? Anyway, the unit were obviously watching old reruns of Ronin or Prison Break on the flight there, because they take the man to a vet to get the chip out. Is helping criminals and CIA agents part of official veterinary training?
10.45pm, My Name Is Earl, Channel 4
SERIES FINALE Life starts to go badly wrong for Earl when an irate Billie starts undoing all the things on his list he has managed to fix. Meanwhile Randy falls for Camdenite Greta, scuppering Earl’s attempts to sort out his marriage. Reports seem to suggest this season’s meandering storyline won’t carry through into the next run, which might come as a relief to those of you who miss the original list format.
