House’s obsession with daytime soap Prescription: Passion actually proves useful for once when he notices one of the cast is gradually slowing down, and kidnaps the poor chap (Sex and the City‘s Jason Lewis) to diagnose him and sort him out. Plus he’s still jostling with Amber over spending quality time with Wilson. (By the way, did you know Hugh Laurie was a member of a charity-based celebrity rock group?)

As always, the Beeb are holding off on the final episode until BBC2 catches up, so BBC3 watchers will have to be patient. Tonight’s BBC3 instalment will give you plenty to mull over in the meantime, with some jaw-dropping revelations about Adam and the promise of a stunning confrontation.

SERIES FINALE All the good-natured ribbing that’s gone on over the years between Alan and Denny takes a serious turn as they’re pitched against one another for the first time in a particularly thorny case, with their differences of opinion threatening to put an end to their cigar-chomping camaraderie. Denny does manage to pull out another fantastic court outfit though…
