9.00 & 10.30, Heroes, BBC2 & BBC3
NEW SERIES It feels like an absolute age since Heroes was on, but finally we get to find out what happened after Peter went all nuclear after the Sylar showdown. This series has had a lot of flack from critics who think it lost its oomph after a cracking first run, but it’s still well worth the watch, especially with the introduction of several new heroes.
9.00, Bones Sky One
Our magazine says tonight’s episode is the one with a baby in it, but we’ve just found out Sky have changed their running order. Good old Sky! I suppose we should be thankful they haven’t dropped it at short notice again… Anyway, the highlight of tonight’s show is Bones and Booth going on a sort of double-date with Sweets and his girlfriend, complete with a string of marvellous one-liners. B&B in top form.
10.00, Boston Legal, Living
Series creator David E Kelley wades in as co-writer for an episode tackling an extremely controversial issue, as a man sues Ivan’s flakey ex-wife Melissa for using his sperm to have a child without his consent. Of course there are moments of humour, including Melissa’s frequent references to Xanadu, inspired by her musical therapy, but overall it’s a thought-provoking episode.
