Pick of the Day | Tuesday 10 March

Smallville - The Bride

8pm, A Town Called Eureka, Sky1
Eva Thorne persuades Zane to break an ancient lock (didn’t they learn anything from last week’s Egyptian debacle?) and Zoe and co end up in a somewhat tricky spot. Still, at least Carter finally gets to confront Eva about what she’s up to, in between dealing with a quirky superhero who has the ability to walk through walls…

9pm, CSI, Five
Grissom breaks the bad news about his plans to leave the unit, but there’s one last case to tackle involving a copycat killer and a decomposed body. Such a nice job, dealing with psychotics and rotting flesh – can’t think what would make him want to leave. The good news is Laurence Fishburne’s lab coat is being ironed, ready for action.

9pm, Battlestar Galactica, Sky1
Anders is still in a coma, but his brain activity is playing havoc with the base ship’s energy supply, and Adama faces up to the prospect of abandoning the Galactica if they can’t get the old girl fixed quickly, but first he’s got to deal with the Cylon’s demands that he goes in search of the kidnapped Hera.

10pm, Smallville, E4
It’s the day of the big Jimmy and Chloe wedding in Smallville, but of course things don’t go smoothly. That’s the problem with living in a town with superheroes – normal everyday occurrences are always stymied by the behaviour of thoughtless baddies. Still, at least it means we don’t have to listen to the best man’s speech.

10pm, Mad Men, BBC4
Don gets drunk after seeing old flame Rachel again, and has a car accident as a result, so Peggy bails him out. We finally find out what happened after Peggy gave birth, and Don’s part in her return to Sterling Cooper. Back in the present, several of the men are gutted when Joan flashes a new engagement ring.
