The chinks begin to appear in Brian’s armour as the threat of losing his son becomes more real, and a series of flashbacks reveal what the now legendary Dutch was really like, shedding light on his relationships with Letitia and Nick.

The tensions between Sean and Christian reach boiling point, and Rachel is forced to revisit her traumatic past. Thankfully there’s some light relief in the form of Rosie O’Donnell’s hapless character Dawn, who’s back for more surgery after an unfortunate accident involving a motorbike, but even she’s not immune to heartache after Freddy has an epiphany during a gay rights parade.
