7.30pm, The Simpsons, Sky1
FIRST SHOWING Sky1 acquired some luck of the Irish for this world premiere of the new episode. Grampa and Homer head to Ireland to have a nostalgic pint at a pub Grampa knew from his army days. As with all Simpsons abroad episodes, it’s guaranteed to tick every stereotype box and add a few more.
9pm, CSI, Five
It’s the end of the line for Gil Grissom, who has finally had enough of grisly dead bodies and crime scenes and decides to hand the baton to the entertainingly blunt Langston. Look out for what we suspect is a slight bullet-shaped reference to The Matrix.
9pm, Battlestar Galactica, Sky1
Admiral Adama has just 12 hours to rescue Hera from Cavil and the rebel Cylons and, with Galactica on her last legs, the members of the fleet must choose between joining the mission or remaining in relative safety.
10pm, Mad Men, BBC4
Don’s affair with Bobbie becomes more intense (in case you can’t tell from the picture!), and Peggy turns to the ever-sassy Joan for advice when she feels she’s being left out of her colleagues’ after-hours shenanigans and wants to find a way to be treated like one of the boys.
10pm, Smallville, E4
Chloe’s being held captive as Brainiac takes over her body, and Clark can’t save her by himself. Luckily enough three characters from the 31st century show up to help him, bringing lots of comic relief with them and taking Clark one step closer to understanding his destiny.
