Ex-Superman Dean Cain makes a guest appearance this week as he plays the father of a Canadian teenager who is shot dead while his family is on holiday. Horatio is quickly on the case and finds evidence to suggest that the murder was something to do with a different hotel guest whose girlfriend flirted with the victim.

Poor old Melinda has to deal with a very sad ghost this week when Ned asks her to help his new girlfriend and their orphaned brother and sister. The siblings are being haunted by their mother who was trying to keep them from telling anyone about her death. Luckily Melinda is there to sort the whole mess out.
