8pm, A Town Called Eureka, Sky1
Eva Carradine may be a daft (and now dead) FBI agent in 24, but she’s bringing plenty of life to Eureka as Jack’s newly arrived sister Lexi, and she proves useful tonight when Jack has a spot of mummy trouble. Where’s Brendan Fraser when you need him?
9pm, CSI, Five
A finalist in a TV talent contest is found dead, and it isn’t just because their act really sucked. The CSIs uncover a link to the murder and a killing that happened in town more than 50 years ago. Look out for old Hitchcock star Tippi Hedren, Waltons star Ralph Waite and Robert Guillaume who played Benson in Soap.
9pm, Battlestar Galactica, Sky1
Starbuck’s existential crisis continues as she tries to work out who or what she really is, and in the process discovers a musical talent that somehow connects her to the Cylon hybrid. I don’t know about you, but I’m envisaging a clarinet or a trombone embedded in her arm, maybe.
10pm, Smallville, E4
IT’S BACK! I’ve lost count of the weeks we’ve been without Smallville, but it’s finally back, and Clark has to make a mad dash to the Arctic to get Jor-El’s help when Brainiac’s brain-drain scheme starts to wipe out Chloe’s memories, replacing them with Kryptonian code.
10pm, Mad Men, BBC4
Peggy’s family invite visiting priest Father Gill to lunch and it’s clear he’s not your standard man of the cloth. Elsewhere Don’s son Bobby makes trouble at home, leading to tension between Don and Betty about child discipline issues.
