8pm, Stargate Atlantis, Sky1
Dr Keller thinks she can cure the Wraith of their need to feast on humans, but first she has to convince the Primary that it’s foolproof so she can test her hypothesis out on some subjects. It’s not too easy to get close to the Primary, so the slightly dubious Todd comes up with a cunning plan to turn Teyla into a Wraith Queen for diplomacy purposes. That really doesn’t sound like a good idea to me…
9pm, Ghost Whisperer, Living
A concerned Rick asks Melinda to give one of his students a job, as he believes the troubled girl is being haunted. However, as Melinda investigates, it becomes clear that the hauntings may have a strange connection to horror films. Cue inside jokes about Jennifer Love Hewitt’s appearance in I Know What You Did Last Summer, and pastiches of plenty of other cinema favourites, including The Blair Witch Project. You could almost turn this episode into a movie buff drinking game.
10pm, Prison Break, Sky1
Lincoln takes Sara, Sucre and Roland to Vegas on the trail of the next card. For a group who are supposed to be laying low, a trip to the city that has as many CCTV cameras as gamblers seems decidedly dicey (pardon the pun), especially with Roland’s ongoing refusal to join in with the “All for one and one for all” mantra. Meanwhile, back in LA, T-Bag has realised the single-handed approach is getting him nowhere and has teamed up with Gretchen to entrap Mahone, Bellick and Michael.
• There’ll be no Prison Break for the next two weeks on Sky1. It’s back on 28th October.
