Vanessa uses pictures of Catherine and Marcus to blackmail Blair into being nicer, so a vengeful Blair pulls a Dangerous Liaisons stunt, challenging Chuck to seduce Vanessa. Unfortunately she gets a touch of the green-eyed monster about the plan, but by then it’s too late and Chuck uses his position to full advantage.
10pm, The Beast, Five USA
Barker reveals a softer side when he gets involved with a case in which a young boy has been infected with a deadly virus as a means of blackmailing his mother. This Friday is Comic Relief night for UK viewers, but it seems tonight is the slightly darker Blackmail Relief night. Never mind lying in a bath of baked beans – what crazy extortion plan can you and your friends or co-workers come up with for charity?
10pm, Desperate Housewives, Channel 4
Wednesday is definitely the best slot to catch the Wisteria girls, even though it was on E4 on Sunday night. No blackmail here, thank goodness, although Lynette does resort to devious means to make sure Porter attends his court hearing. Elsewhere, Susan and Edie bond in a basement – well, as much as those two could ever bond.
